Sayre, PA, (August 21, 2006) Twin Tier Hospitality announced that Michael A. Slivka has been named as Director of Sales and Marketing and Ada Amato as Catering Manager for the Clarion Scranton Hotel located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
“We are excited to have both Michael and Ada joining our team,” said Rob Dmuchowski, Corporate Director, Sales and Marketing, Twin Tier Hospitality. “Both individuals bring a dynamic personality and experience level with them.”
Michael was most recently with Dover Downs Hotel and Casino where he headed up the sales team as Director of Hotel Sales. Prior to Dover Downs he served as Director of Sales and Membership with the Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Michael earned his Associates Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Lehigh County College.
Ada comes to Twin Tier Hospitality having served most recently as Event Manager for the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple for three years. Other positions held include Executive Director for Women in Distress and Executive Director of the Oakland Park Chamber of Commerce in Florida. Ada has an Associates Degree in Public Relations from the University of Marywood in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
