The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, May 30, 2006 - Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Robert Boyle as managing director for Turtle Bay Resort, the signature property located on the North Shore of Oahu.  Sam Haigh, president and chief operating officer, made the announcement.

"I am extremely pleased to announce the promotion of Bob Boyle to managing director of Turtle Bay Resort," said Mr. Haigh.  "Bob has an outstanding leadership style, a solid business acumen, and a great commitment to the resort and to further enhancing the guest experience at Turtle Bay."

Previously, Mr. Boyle served as resort manager for Turtle Bay Resort, a role he held since last September.  He brought great depth of experience to the property when he joined the operational team, with nearly two decades of professional resort management experience in his background.  Just prior to joining Benchmark at Turtle Bay Resort, Boyle was president of Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, located in Whitefield, New Hampshire.

Bob Boyle has previously served in executive management positions for The Camberley Hotel of Louisville, Kentucky, and for Topnotch at Stowe Resort and Spa of Stowe, Vermont.  Additionally, he was the general manager for the Doral Telluride Resort and Spa of Telluride, Colorado.  Mr. Boyle attended LaSalle University.

Located on the North Shore of Oahu, the 880-acre Turtle Bay Resort recently completed $60 million in renovations. Operated by Benchmark Hospitality International, the resort's accommodations include a 401-room hotel and The Beach Cottages at Turtle Bay Resort, 42 luxurious, beachfront cottages.

The resort has five miles of beachfront that include Kawela Bay, Kuilima Cove and Turtle Bay. It is the only resort on Oahu with 36 holes of championship golf: the George Fazio and Arnold Palmer courses. In addition to world-class golf, Turtle Bay Resort is rich in other recreation and resort amenities, including an exquisite new spa, two lushly landscaped oceanside pools, riding stables with ocean and trail riding, a full-service tennis center by Peter Burwash International, a surf school by Hans Hedemann and 12 miles of ocean-front hiking trails.
