M3 software now offers Flex Budgeting as part of AccKnowledge, which is M3s proprietary application comprised of hotel-specific and traditional accounting modules.

An AccKnowledge Flex Budget report can show management exactly how much money is in select income and expense accounts in relation to the hotel�s budget.  There are three critical aspects of this report: 

1. The budget has automatically been adjusted (or flexed) to accommodate actual sales and expenses.
2. The data is accurate to the minute the report is run.
3. Management pre-determines the criteria for the adjustment of each line item they select for inclusion in their reports.
