Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spaís Sales Team Selected as Hyatt's
"Sales Team of the Year" for Hotels with 501 Rooms or Less
SAN ANTONIO May 12, 2006 - On the heels of General Manager Thomas Smith being named as Hyatt Hotels Corporationís General Manager of the Year, comes the announcement that the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spaís sales team has been selected as SALES TEAM OF THE YEAR for hotels with 501 rooms or less. The team, consisting of 11 full-time sales managers, was selected based on a variety of criteria, including,
  • Achievement of hotelís financial forecast
  • Achievement of future group revenue 
  • Percent of group sales 
  • Managers who achieved 100% of quota
  • Achievement of Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) index goal
  • Percentage change in RevPAR ration versus competition
  • Referrals to other Hyatt Hotels & Resorts
  • Work ethic
  • Relationships with their customers
Out of the chainís 216 hotels and resorts, 42 properties fall into the 501 rooms or less category and were eligible for this award. 10-were nominated. The Hyatt Hill Country was selected by a group of senior-level directors from Hyatt Corporationís headquarters in Chicago.
