Renovation as Part of Courtyard�s Nationwide Hotel Reinvention |

announced that the 146-room Courtyard by Marriott in Andover, MA has recently
completed a major renovation of its guest rooms, lobby and public spaces.
The enhancements are based on feedback from hotel guests and are part of
Courtyard�s nationwide hotel reinvention designed to meet the needs of
today�s travelers.
�Courtyard was launched based on the needs and desires of business travelers and now we are reinventing the brand on the basis of new customer research and recent product testing. Our updated design concepts provide greater comfort and functionality to our guests,� said Mike Jannini, executive vice president, brand management, Marriott International. The new guest rooms and public space have been upgraded with the addition of functional enhancements and new décor and furnishings. Practical additions such as The Market, a 24/7 food and beverage pantry and business library, featuring individual workstations with high-speed data ports and ergonomic chairs combine with aesthetic elements including the use of curved surfaces, rich woods, designer fabrics, granite counters and superior lighting. Courtyard Guestroom Enhancements: Improved Workspace � A desk on wheels has been added to provide increased workspace. The desk also doubles as a table that can be moved to eat or work in front of the TV. In addition, new task lighting has been added and extra power outlets are conveniently located at desk level.Courtyard has also redesigned its lobbies and public spaces. In addition to the business library and The Market, a lounge area where guests can work, meet and dine in a relaxing setting has been added along with a front desk design that allows more guest interaction and personalized service at check in and check out.
