 The Dow Hotel Company Completing Multi-million Dollar Renovation
at the 353 room Doubletree Hotel in Bellevue, Washington; 
Will Rebrand the Hilton Bellevue
Bellevue, WA — April 28, 2006—The Dow Hotel Company, LLC (DHC) announced today that it will rename its 353 room Doubletree Hotel in Bellevue, Washington, to The Hilton Bellevue.  The hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation and conversion which will be completed in June 2006. A year ago, DHC acquired the hotel and reached an agreement with Hilton Hotel Corporation to transform it to the Hilton Family’s premier full service brand as a Hilton.
“As The Dow Hotel Company continues to grow across the country, we are pleased to find the perfect match in our own backyard,” said Murray L. Dow II, president of DHC. “With its proximity to Seattle, the high-tech and bio-tech business community, the Meydenbauer Center, and the vibrant Eastside shopping, The Hilton Bellevue will well serve the needs of both business and leisure travelers visiting the Bellevue-Seattle area.”
The hotel is being transformed to meet Hilton’s luxury brand standards. Each of the spacious guestrooms showcases the Hilton Serenity Bed, luxurious linens and pillows, executive-size work desk, wireless high-speed internet, satellite television, and the Hilton alarm clock with MP3 jack compliment the comfortable surroundings of each guest room and suite. The newly renovated bathrooms include dual-granite vanities and the Hilton Serenity Bath collection, featuring Crabtree & Evelyn products.

Architectural and interior design elements of the multi-million project were facilitated by the AIA award-winning firm Degan and Degan of Seattle. The nine month reconstruction is being managed by the Howard S. Wright Company.
