and Build a Host of New Hotels Around the World
.
DALLAS, TX (June 23, 2006) Dallas-based Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the premier manager of ultra-luxury hotels and resorts throughout the world, is pleased to announce the global expansion of its premier portfolio. Dedicated to upholding the highest standards of service and offering guests one-of-a-kind amenities and experiences, Rosewood has announced plans to open, manage and build a host of new hotels and resorts around the world. The new properties will join Rosewoods present collection of 15 extraordinary hotels and resorts.

In November 2005, Rosewood announced the addition of Inn of the Anasazi, A Rosewood Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico to the collection, and in early 2006 assumed management of the award-winning CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort in San Martin, California. Both are intimate world-class retreats that reflect Rosewoods philosophy of bestowing each of its properties with a one-of-a-kind ambiance and style that mirrors the locations culture, history and geography.

Additionally, in May, Rosewood opened, Acqualina, A Rosewood Resort, in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The Mediterranean-inspired resort offers guests the celebrated Il Mulino New York restaurant, three oceanfront swimming pools, an unprecedented childrens program, AcquaMarine, and the first ESPA-branded spa in the United States opening this fall.

And, earlier this month Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts awarded Rosewood the management contract of San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California.  Nestled in the lush Montecito foothills between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, the 500-acre ranch has provided a tranquil retreat for discriminating travelers for over a century.  Since opening its in 1893, guests have been drawn to this legendary hideaway for its blend of exquisite natural beauty and romantic heritage.   Myth and history still mingle in gardens where Vivien Leigh and Sir Laurence Olivier exchanged vows and John and Jackie Kennedy honeymooned.

As Rosewood continues its global expansion, the company will assume management of two new U.S. projects that will be completed in the next few years.  Just a mile from the Stanford University campus on Sandhill Road in Menlo Park, California, Rosewood will manage The Rosewood Sandhill, currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2008.  In the high end area of Buckhead, Atlanta, Rosewood will manage The Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel, opening in 2008.  The 42-story luxury hotel and condominium project is designed by noted American architect Robert Stern and will feature 127 guest rooms and a 14,000-square-foot spa.

Internationally, Rosewood is building on the success of Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico and will open The Rosewood Mayakoba, in Mexicos Riviera Maya in 2007.  The stunning resort will offer an earthly paradise of white sand beaches, 120 state-of-the-art over-water and lagoon-nestled suites, a world-class spa perched on its own island and a nearby championship Greg Norman-designed golf course.  Rosewood is also building its third Saudi Arabian hotel, Corniche, A Rosewood Hotel, located in Jeddah, opening in late 2006.  Joining Rosewoods renowned Middle Eastern properties, Hotel Al Faisaliah and Hotel al Khozama, Corniche will offer spectacular views of the Red Sea, an incredible roof-top pool and an array of exceptional dining.

Rosewoods development pipeline is the strongest in its history and includes several world-class hotel projects in Telluride, Costa Rica, Tahiti, Barbados and Fiji.
