Receives Prestigious "Enterprising Women of the Year" Award |
New York, April 2006 - Linda Coughlin, president of Metro-Home NYC
LLC (www.metro-home.com), has been presented with the 2006 "Enterprising
Women of the Year" award in the category of $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 in
annual sales. She was one of six women executives to receive the
honor. The award was presented in a ceremony held at the Disney Grand
Floridian Resort & Spa. Walt Disney World Company was the Premiere
event sponsor, with UPS serving as a Platinum event sponsor.
The award is given annually by Enterprising Women magazine to women entrepreneurs who have built successful businesses and are leaders in their communities. Enterprising Women magazine hosted the two-day tribute designed to honor women entrepreneurs who are recipients of the 2006 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. Four women were inducted into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame and two were given Advocacy Awards, honoring leaders of organizations that work in the interest of supporting women's entrepreneurship.
