the PHG Hotel of The Year, 2005 |

Massachusetts. APRIL 14, 2006. The Peabody Hotel Group has named
the Hilton Greenville on West Orchard Park Drive, Greenville as its
PHG �Hotel of The Year, 2005�. The Hilton Sales Team also won an
unprecedented four Sales awards, including the company�s �Sales Team of
the Year, 2005� award in a surprise ceremony that took place on March 29
at the hotel.
Bill Bennett, a long time member of the hotel team and a highly respected member of the Greenville business community, won the �Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year� award, and his sales team members Tina Hamilton, Catering Sales Manager, and Dave Sorauf, Group Sales Manager, were awarded �Sales Manager of the Year� titles for outstanding results in their respective departments. Peabody Hotel Group�s annual awards are given out based on the achievement of revenue, occupancy, rate and guest satisfaction targets. John Howard, General Manager of the Hilton Greenville, was delighted that his hotel to receive the �Hotel of the Year Award�. �It is extremely satisfying for our hotel to win this award. It gives all our associates extra motivation to continue providing the outstanding service we are known for, in a clean and welcoming environment.� We had a great deal of competition from our eight sister hotels, and many of them had an incredibly strong case to support their claim to this title. It was, by no means, a certainty that we would win�. He continued �Since the renovations took place in 2005, we have a very strong product, and our associates have raised service levels to match, which is a commendable feat.
