Tecton Hospitality Completes $2.5 million Renovation of the
Hampton Inn in Morehead City, North Carolina

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C, March 28, 2006 – Tecton Hospitality today announced that it has completed a $2.5 million renovation of the Morehead City Hampton Inn hotel located at 4035 Arendell St in Morehead City, NC.

“This renovation demonstrates our commitment to providing travelers with the high-quality accommodations and value-added services in this area synonymous with the Hampton Inn brand,” said Raul Leal, president of Tecton Hospitality.  “When travelers visit the Morehead City Hampton Inn hotel they’ll continue to find the service and comfort they associate with the Hampton Inn name backed by our 100% Hampton Satisfaction Guarantee.”

As part of the renovation, improvements were made to the exterior of the 119-room hotel, including a new roof, exterior of property repainted, guest rooms painted, guest room furniture, guest room lighting, carpeting, bed linens, bathroom tile, bathroom wall vinyl and landscaping.  In addition, the hotel made enhancements to the property’s common areas, such as carpeting, wall vinyl, lobby furniture, breakfast area furniture refinished, ceiling tiles replaced and meeting room carpet replaced.

Now completed, the new Morehead City Hampton Inn hotel has been implemented with Hampton’s innovative standards, which are part of the brand’s ground-breaking project – “Make it Hampton.”  Introduced in January 2004, “Make it Hampton” is the single largest transformation ever undertaken by a hotel brand to enhance the guest experience at its hotels.  These new standards give the hotel chain a prominent role as being a “limited service” innovator and leader.

The new hotel includes amenities such as the brand’s complimentary On the House Hot Breakfast served daily, complimentary high-speed internet access, complimentary local telephone calls made from the room and the brand’s 100% Hampton satisfaction guarantee, which guarantees each guest full satisfaction or their night’s stay is free.  Guest rooms will also feature a curved shower curtain rod.  Also, an in-room coffee maker, iron and ironing board are standard in every room.
