IDeaS Adds to its Americas Sales Team with the Appointment
of Two Long-time Hospitality Industry Professionals
Cliff Atkinson and Adam Werner to Sell IDeaS Acclaimed ASP Solutions 
Minneapolis, Minnesota-February 28, 2006 IDeaS, the leading provider of hospitality revenue optimization solutions and one of the industry’s fastest growing technology companies today announced that Cliff Atkinson and Adam Werner, both long time hospitality professionals, have joined the company’s Americas based sales organization.

Atkinson joins IDeaS as its Director of Sales, Central Region with more than ten years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently he served as the Executive Assistant Manager of the Rooms Division for IDeaS client, Mandarin Oriental, New York. 
“I became exposed to IDeaS Revenue Optimization from the client perspective while at Mandarin Oriental and I guess you could say I became a real believer in the value of the solution,” said Cliff Atkinson. “The opportunity at IDeaS is a chance for me to be a part of a growing organization and work daily communicating the values of a product I have become passionate about and a service program I had great respect for when I was a client.”

Prior to his time at Mandarin Oriental New York, Cliff was the Corporate Director of Revenue Management for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in San Francisco, and spent a several years with Hilton Hotels in various positions of increasing responsibility at both the San Francisco Hilton and Towers and the San Francisco Airport Hilton.

Adam Werner

Adam Werner joins IDeaS as its Director of Sales for the Western region from hospitality technology supplier Diversified Computer Corporation where he was a Sales Manager focused on selling the GuestWare CRM solution.

“I joined IDeaS to build on my experience selling best-of-class hospitality solutions. With my extensive hotel background and my experience selling technology to the hospitality market, IDeaS was an ideal fit,” said Adam Werner. “I was interested in focusing my energies towards selling a proven ASP based solution that came from a company that was as well-known in the industry for their exceptional client relationships as for innovative technology. IDeaS sets the bar in both those areas. Additionally I was really excited to have an opportunity to focus exclusively on the Western region, and to play a role in transforming revenue management practices in the industry here.”

Before joining Diversified Computer Corporation, Adam worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts in increasingly senior positions ending as the Director of Six Sigma, Black Belt for The Westin Seattle. Prior to that position he worked as a Sales Manager and in various other roles for the Westin Seattle over the course of 9 years.
