For Second Consecutive Year North Maple Inn is a "Best Place to Work
in New Jersey" According to Readers of NJ BIZ
.
Basking Ridge, New Jersey, March 9, 2006 - North Maple Inn of Basking Ridge has been recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" for the second consecutive year.

The honor was given to 50 New Jersey companies by NJBIZ, one of the state's most important business publications.  In 2005, North Maple Inn ranked number 11 in the medium size company category and was the only hotel in the entire listing.

"This is a tremendous honor for all of us at North Maple Inn," stated Mike Taylor, general manager.  "We were very proud to receive this honor last year and equally thrilled to be given it a second year in a row.  It is very gratifying and a great tribute to our team of professionals here at North Maple Inn, and to our management company, Benchmark Hospitality International."

The survey and awards program was designed in 2005 by NJBIZ to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment within the state, which benefit New Jersey's economy, its workforce and businesses.

The "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" program is made up of 50 companies divided into two groups: 25 small/medium-size companies (25-199 employees) and 25 large-size companies (more than 200 employees). North Maple Inn has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" in the medium category.

Companies from across the state entered a two-part process to determine the 50 "Best Places to Work in New Jersey."  The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation.

The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in New Jersey with assistance from ModernThink LLC, which analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.

North Maple Inn will be recognized and honored at the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey" awards ceremony on April 24, 2006. The final rankings will be revealed at the ceremony.
