Senior Execs Vote to Determine Hot List
MCLEAN, VA (Jan. 11, 2006) Who are the most extraordinary sales and
marketing minds in hospitality and travel today? The Hospitality
Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) polled senior executives
throughout the marketplace to identify the Hot List of Top 25 for 2005.
There is an amazing amount of creativity, intelligence and passion
in our profession which all too often goes unrecognized, states Robert
A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.
We see such clever campaigns and brilliant strategies all year long,
and as the leading organization of sales and marketing professionals in
hospitality and travel, we shed light on those individuals responsible
with our annual hot list of the 25 Most Extraordinary Sales and Marketing
Minds in Hospitality & Travel, Gilbert added.
HSMAI asked top-tier executives throughout the hospitality, travel
and tourism industries to submit nominees who best exemplified the set
criteria: Whose marketing strategies are truly innovative and clever?
Whose campaigns are standouts? Whose companies represent a sales-focused
organization? Who gets results? Whose work do you wish was
yours?
Nominees submitted were reviewed and scored by HSMAIs Executive Committee,
resulting in the third annual Top 25 list.
The Top 25 will be acknowledged at HSMAIs annual Adrian Awards Gala
on Monday, January 30, 2006 in New York. The black-tie event honors
marketing excellence for advertising, public relations and web marketing.
Additionally, all 25 honorees will be featured in an article in the spring
issue of HSMAIs Marketing Review.
