Moroccan/Kuwaiti Development Company CMKD and Golden Tulip Enter
into Management Agreement for the Five Farah Hotels
in the Kingdom of Morocco

Amersfoort (NL)/Lausanne (CH), 28th of February 2006 � Golden Tulip Hospitality announces its expansion into the Kingdom of Morocco through the signing of a hotel management agreement for the five existing Farah Hotels.

The Superior First Class and Luxury hotels are all located in strategic Moroccan destinations and have all been under operation by parent CMKD for the last 5 years.

The hotels, which all will become Golden Tulip branded hotels effective March 1, are:
 

Golden Tulip Farah Casablanca is an ideal hotel for business travellers as it is located in the heart of the economic capital, close to the business district, shopping centres and jogging areas overlooking the main square of Casablanca. With 305 guestrooms spread over 16 floors the hotel offers a great choice of dining venues, a Piano Bar, the Abou Nuwas Bar, swimming pool, sport facilities and much more. The hotel also provides a conference hall that accommodates up to 500 participants. Golden Tulip Farah Marrakech is located in the residential area of Marrakech named �Hilvernage� close to the casino, historical monuments of Medina and the famous place Djemaa El Fna. Golden Tulip Farah Rabat with 185 guestrooms is a 5-star hotel located near the city centre of Rabat, the Mohamed V Museum and the Hassan Tower. Golden Tulip Farah Safi is uniquely located with a beautiful view over the Atlantic Ocean, the old medina and the Portuguese monuments from the 16th century. The hotel offers 90 rooms including 10 suites all fully equipped with all the necessary facilities for an either business or leisure stay. Meeting facilities are available at the hotel accommodating up to 60 participants. Golden Tulip Farah Khouribga is a modern white hotel, located just one kilometre from the City Centre of Khouribga and 1.5 Kilometres from the train station. Spread over two floors, the 76 Air-Conditioned guestrooms are fully equipped with among other satellite television, direct-dial phones, high-speed internet access and minibars. The management agreement will go into effect on the 1st of March and will be operated through Golden Tulip in Morocco Managed by Mr. Rochdi El Bouab, one of Morocco�s well seasoned professionals. 

The hotels are owned by CMKD, which stands for the Consortium Morocco-Kuwaiti for Development (CMKD), a joint venture between Morocco and Kuwait. 

From the time of its creation in 1977, CMKD has had as its principal objective, to contribute towards the strengthening of the economy of the Kingdom of Morocco through investment projects that will help, not only in the creation of employment opportunities but also in promoting Morocco�s strategic sectors namely, Tourism, Real Estate and Finance.
