24 awards to its top hotels at its conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
The prominent Awards of Recognition and Chairman�s Awards are presented
annually to the leading Days Inns in Canada.

The company introduced a new Award of Recognition this year, the Humanitarian
Award, which recognizes hotels that raise funds and awareness for charitable

Also notable are the Chairman�s Awards for Quality, which recognizes Days
Inn hotels that have received the highest quality assurance evaluation
scores in the chain. These hotels have consistently demonstrated excellence
in customer service and operational efficiency, achieving a quality assurance
score of at least 495 out of a possible 500 points, on all annual unannounced
inspections.

This year�s annual conference was an opportunity for Days Inn owners,
general managers and staff from across the country to celebrate the success
of recent brand wide initiatives including: free Daybreak Café breakfast,
the new SolTerre® Shower experience and free high-speed Internet.

Free Daybreak Café breakfast - Days Inn�s signature breakfast experience
features brands consumers know and trust such as KelloggsTM, Nabob®,
Red Rose® and Minute Maid®. Daybreak Cafés are found at
all hotels without an on-site restaurant.

The new SolTerre® Shower experience, offers increased light and elbowroom
through an innovative window pane shower curtain and curved shower rod,
as well as a multi-action, six-function Waterpik® showerhead and citrus
and sunflower enriched SolTerre® bath amenities.

Free high-speed Internet is now available in the vast majority of guest
rooms.
Other programs highlighted included: TripRewards®, the chain�s guest
loyalty program, and Medallia � Days Inn�s online customer satisfaction
survey that allows guests to give feedback after their hotel stay. The
brand�s continued responsible growth was also celebrated.
Last year there were seven hotels added: four new construction hotels
(Langley, B.C.; Red Deer, Alta.; Prince Albert, Sask. and Oromocto, N.B.)
and three hotel conversions (Estevan, Sask.; Thompson, Man. and Welland,
Ont.).
