The Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center Set to Open in 
August, 2006; The 286-room City Owned Property with 60,000
Sq Ft of Meeting Space Will Open Smoke Free
CORALVILLE, Iowa February 7, 2006 The great state of Iowa is preparing to unveil its first-ever smoke free full-service hotel with the Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, opening August 15, 2006. The 286-room property with 60,000 square feet of meeting space is owned by the City of Coralville and operated by Marriott International. To further demonstrate their commitment to promoting a smoke free environment, along with their strong desire to have a positive impact on the local community and economy, the Coralville Marriott will donate a percentage of guest room receipts in 2006 to the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center for tobacco-related research.
