Jim Burba Appointed to the California Travel and Tourism Commission

COSTA MESA, California ---October 3, 2005 -  Burba Hotel Network (BHN) president Jim Burba has been appointed to the California Travel and Tourism Commission by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Governor�s office recently announced.  The 37-member California Travel & Tourism Commission is comprised of individuals from all 12 regions of the state that make the travel and tourism one of their top priorities.  Members represent four principal industry sectors: Accommodations, Attractions, Restaurant & Retail, and Transportation & Travel Services.   

About his appointment Burba said, �It�s an honor to have been appointed by the Governor to serve on this prestigious Commission and thus to be able to play a role in helping build a stronger travel & tourism industry in California.  Travel & tourism is a vital component of our economy and I look forward to working with the Commission, the industry and with Governor Schwarzenegger to optimize California�s potential.�
