 IACC Learning Network Offers a Full Day Educational Event
for Successful Operations of a Conference Center

IACC Infusion 2005:  Knowledge Sharing for Conference Center Professionals
 
( Westchester, NY - October 2005 ) - The Learning Network of the International Association of Conference Centers promises to infuse  practical ideas and approaches for successful conference center operation at Infusion 2005, a day-long event devoted to comprehensive discussions of key elements of a conference center including education sessions on meeting space, food & beverage, technology, marketing and staffing.  Partnering with key IACC  vendors, including Allied Members and Affinity Partners, Infusion 2005,  the first in a new series of annual events, will take place on Friday November 18, 2005 at the Summit Executive Centre on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.  Sessions are schedule to include: 
  • Architecture and Design
  • Food and Beverage
  • Technology
  • Marketing
  • Audio Visual Equipment and Service  
The day will include such workshops as 'Tune Into Design'.  "This workshop will be part 'Design on a Dime' and part 'I Want That' explains IACC Professional Development Coordinator, Sue Tinnish.  "The interactive workshops will be full of camaraderie and a vibrant exchange of viewpoints that will allow attendees to share new perspectives, observations and actionable idea relevant to the conference center segment."

Other relevant workshops will include 'More than Meat and Potatoes' which will examine current food trends and positive relationship building with food service vendors, and 'The Technology High Wire' designed to assist conference centers in coaching their customers on how to use available technology to improve the effectiveness and impact of their meeting.  A complete listing of the workshops and presenters is listed on the IACC website.

Presented as part of IACC's ongoing strategic initiative to create and enhance educational industry programs, Infusion 2005 is designed to provide insight into current conference center trends and the opportunity to experience an educational agenda geared toward successful strategies and innovative thinking.    

Registration cost is $99 for IACC Members and $189 for non IACC Members.  Overnight accommodations are available.
