 German Hotel Development Group, Feuring Assigned the Development
of a Hotel Portfolio in the Middle East by the Kuwait National
Real Estate Company

Mainz, October 11, 2005 - Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development has been assigned with the development of a hotel portfolio in the Middle East by the Kuwait National Real Estate Company (NREC) who are planning to build 50 new hotels in the upper three-star segment within the next few years.  In the first edition of its corporate magazine �WINDROSE�, Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development announced that work on the first of these projects, a development in Beirut/Lebanon, has already been started. �WINDROSE� will appear several times a year in DIN A4-format and will be sent to the group�s business partners on the occasion of the EXPO REAL (from October 10th to 12th in Munich).

A further major project for Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development is the development of a luxury resort on the Greek West Peleponnes which is to be built on grounds 370,000 square metres in size and will comprise 125 room units and 268 luxury apartments.  Plans include a large 3,600 square metres PGA-Golf course. The resort is to be run by a renowned international operator who will introduce the Mediterranean region to new quality standards in the up-grade hotel resort market.  In order to meet the operator�s requirements, guestrooms will have a size of at least 60 square metres! 

One of Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development�s further ongoing projects in the Middle East is an exclusive boutique hotel in a prime location of Kuwait City.  This is a 127-room building and was designed by the Barcelona based architects Broadway Malyan.

The Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe Dresden to open its doors in April 2006

The 185-room Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe nearby the famous Frauenkirche in Dresden is to open its doors in April 2006.  Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development was responsible for the hotel concept and acted as consultant with respect to the architectural design. The business, holiday and conference hotel is being erected on the historical grounds of the former Hotel de Saxe which was known for being very up-class and sophisticated.  The Frauenkirche in Dresden is being inaugurated at the end of October and will be one of the most important tourist magnets in Dresden, a city with a similar flair as Florence in Italy.

Other successful hotel projects by Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development are the Radisson SAS Hotel Rostock in Germany, a conference hotel with 251 rooms which has been generating excellent figures since its opening in the middle of August, as well as the 294-room Le Méridien Hotel Vienna which has taken in an excellent position on the market since its opening in December 2003 and was nominated for the Top100 in the �Hot-Spot�-listing of the international travel journal �Condé Nast Traveller�.

Berno-H. Feuring, hotelier and founder of Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development recently spoke at the �Athens Hotel Branding Seminar� which took place in the Greek capital at the end of September.  He addressed the participants of the seminar, mainly people from the Mediterranean region, about successful strategies in establishing brand names in the tourist hotel sector and in cultivating them.

In the German-speaking countries Feuring � Visionary Hotel Development is well known for the successful development of the Le Méridien hotels in Hamburg, Munich and Vienna.  Current projects are the development of the Steigenberger Grand Hotel de Saxe in Dresden and a four-star hotel in a prime location of the harbour in Dusseldorf.
