Frank Ashmore Appointed Director of Sales & Marketing
for the Montelucia, a Solis Resort & Spa
in Paradise Valley, Arizona


ATLANTA, Oct. 13, 2005 - Solis Hotels and Resorts, a new luxury hotel and resort brand based here, has named 20-year hotel industry veteran Frank Ashmore as Director of Sales & Marketing for its flagship resort, Montelucia, a Solis Resort & Spa set in Paradise Valley, Arizona (Phoenix/Scottsdale area).  The Solis brand was created in response to discerning guests' quest for comfortable and enlightened experiences.

Ashmore will oversee Montelucia's sales, marketing, advertising and public relations after spending more than 16 years with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, where he earned the Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year award in 2004, along with several other honors throughout his career.  Ashmore is known for his creativity and support of local charitable organizations.

Montelucia, a Solis Resort & Spa, will be an Andalucian-style property, and is slated to open in late-2007 amid 28 acres in Paradise Valley, accented by Camelback Mountain and reflecting the ambiance of Old World Spain.
