The Best Western Potomac View Undergoing
Extensive $1.3 million Renovation Project

(September 23, 2005, Oxon Hill, Maryland) —The Best Western Potomac View announces an extensive $1.3 million renovation project.  The effort, launching November 2005, is scheduled for completion in March 2006, and will incorporate guestrooms, meeting space and public area renovations.
The plans allow the award winning 8-story interior corridor hotel to remain in full operation throughout the renovation phase, with no disruption in services to the Best Western Potomac View hotel guests. At the conclusion of the project, guests who visit the hotel will experience 140 new guest rooms outfitted with freshly upgraded soft case goods and further enhanced and refurbished bath areas. The upgrades are part of an ongoing renovation program that will touch every guest room in the hotel as well as common areas and back of the house facilities.

“We are truly excited about this large-scale endeavor,” explains Michael Wood, Vice President Hotel Operations.  “This undertaking represents our ongoing commitment to our guests and offers the finest in accommodations in our demanding market.”
The design team from Design Force Corporation of Denver, CO selected the hotel interiors. Each of the planned guestrooms will feature classic decor accentuated by shaker cherry finish furniture offering either a king size or two-queen beds and a variety of first class amenities. Hotel public space, including lobby, guest floor corridors, restaurant & lounge, indoor pool and exercise facility, ballroom and a fixed seating executive boardroom featuring ergonomic fitted chairs, will receive extensive refurbishment upgrades. A new business center will be introduced as part of the renovation.
