SynXis Appoints Industry Veteran as Vice President of Sales

David Meltzer, former Vice President for Car & Hotel Distribution for the
Sabre Travel Network selected to lead the Global Sales Team at SynXis

SOUTHLAKE, TX � NOVEMBER 4.  SynXis today announced that David S. Meltzer has been appointed Vice President of Sales for SynXis, the Sabre Holdings (NYSE:TSG) business that provides reservation management, distribution and technology services for hotels. 

In his role as vice president of Sales, Meltzer is responsible for leading the global sales team for SynXis.  Through the SynXis RedX� Distribution Management System, hotel properties are able to seamlessly sell through global distribution systems (GDSs), as well as over 1,200 third party Internet travel sites, hotel reservation offices/central reservation centers and their own hotel website.

Meltzer joins SynXis from Sabre Travel Network, where he was most recently acting Vice President for Car and Hotel Distribution.  Prior to holding that position, Meltzer was Director of Global Accounts and Operations, responsible for hotel distribution and service for Sabre�s 65,000 hotel customers.  Prior to joining Sabre Travel Network in 2002, Meltzer held positions in hotel operations, revenue management and sales at both the corporate and property level.

Meltzer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the American University in Washington, D.C. and a Master of Management in Hospitality at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
