NEW YORK (OCTOBER 2005) � Brian Kramer has been named Hotel Manager
of the Grand Hyatt New York. He is responsible for the daily operations
of the 1,311 room award-winning property. Prior to his promotion, he held
the position of Executive Assistant Manager-Rooms Division at the Grand
Hyatt New York. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry,
he has built an outstanding career that began with Hyatt in 1986.
Mr. Kramer began as a busboy at the Grand Hyatt New York�s fine dining restaurant, Trumpets. Over the next few years, he worked through various rooms-division jobs, and was ultimately promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager and then Executive Housekeeper. With the skills and hospitality knowledge he acquired at the Grand Hyatt, his distinguished career began to grow at a rapid pace. In 1993, he left the Grand Hyatt New York to open the Harborside Hyatt Conference Center and Hotel in Boston, MA. Over the next 11 years, Kramer worked in various positions at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, Hyatt Regency Bethesda, and assisted in opening the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Golf Resort, Spa, and Marina. In 2004, he returned to the Grand Hyatt New York as the Executive Assistant Manager-Rooms. Kramer�s extensive experience has allowed him to utilize his talents and knowledge at the Grand Hyatt New York and throughout the Hyatt Corporation. He has been the recipient of the Hyatt Manager of the Quarter Award at the Harborside Hyatt and the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. He was also awarded the Hyatt Manager of the Year Award at the Harborside Hyatt. Brian Kramer is a very active figure within the hospitality community. He is also a graduate of NYIT with a BA in Hotel Administration. He resides in Westchester County with his wife and three children. About Hyatt
