 Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. Details Workforce Relief Fund and Payroll
Details for 1,150 Team Members Affected by Hurricane Katrina

BOSSIER CITY, La., Sept. 4, 2005 - Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE) today announced that Hurricane Katrina affected all of Isle's 1,150 team members on the Gulf Coast and the company is committed to providing general emergency assistance to its workforce. The Isle of Capri Relief Fund, headed by former Isle president Jack Gallaway, has been established with an initial $500,000 grant from the company.

Additional contributions will be accepted at any Isle of Capri Casino payable to Isle of Capri Relief Fund or by mail addressed to Isle of Capri Hurricane Relief Fund, P.O. Box 446, Fairhope, AL 36533. Details will be communicated to team members as soon as an enrollment process has been established.

The company also announced payroll details for team members affected by the hurricane. Payroll checks for the Biloxi property team members will be distributed at the Isle of Capri corporate offices at 1641 Popps Ferry Road in Biloxi on Monday, Sept. 5 and Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Corporate employee payroll checks will be distributed on Friday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Team members are asked to call 1-800-843-4753, identify yourself as an Isle team member and let the company know exactly where you are staying along with a mailing address. If team members wish to receive their paycheck by mail, they are asked to fax written authorization to 318-678-7693 and include team member number, complete name and mailing address.

Biloxi team members: For the pay period which ended Sept. 4 team members will receive a paper paycheck. If individuals evacuated to a city close enough to another Isle of Capri property, they can pick up their paycheck at the closest Isle property. They will have the ability to cash the paycheck at the Isle when they pick up the check. Hourly team members can expect to receive the 12-week average, including tips, for a minimum of 90 days with benefits. Salaried team members can expect to receive pay until April 30, 2006 with benefits. Biloxi team members will keep seniority, pay level and benefits if they choose to stay with the Isle when the property reopens.

Corporate team members: Your pay due on Sept. 9 will be processed as a paper check and distributed at the corporate offices on Friday, Sept. 9. If you wish to receive your check by mail, be sure to notify the call center. Payroll deductions will remain the same and cannot be changed.

Out-of-town team members: If you are close enough to another Isle of Capri property, you can pick up your paycheck at the Isle closest to you not before Tuesday, Sept. 6. Be sure to call the human resources department at that property to schedule pick-up. You will have the ability to cash your paycheck at the Isle where you pick up the check. If you are not within easy reach of an Isle, your paycheck can be mailed to you with proper written authorization.

Team members can apply for positions at other Isle properties with normal relocation allowances and expenses.
