WHITE PLAINS, NY, September 27, 2005�Keeping ahead of the explosive
growth of technology in the hospitality industry, the 2005 International
Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show® (IH/M&RS) will offer the largest
number of technology exhibitors in five years, as well as a full schedule
of tech-related educational seminars, a Technology Innovation Center and
an eBusiness Center. An estimated 200 technology companies will bring their
products to the show -- Saturday, November 12, through Tuesday, November
15, 2005, at New York City�s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The technology companies participating in IH/M&RS will offer software, wireless solutions, security/surveillance, entertainment-flat screens, check-in kiosks, telecommunications, reservation systems, interactive products and more. �We want to enable the hospitality industry to build success through technology,� said Christian Falkenberg, show manager. �IH/M&RS is the right market to learn about and to procure the newest industry-related technology.� Companies new to the IH/M&RS this year include: Samsung (Televisions); Slomins Security (Alarm, Detection and Security Systems); Motorola (Communication Systems); Kooltech (Internet Access); XN-Torex (Point of Sale, Property Management and Reservation Systems); Mediasoft Solutions (Alarm, Detection and Security Systems, Security Video Information and Materials); and Natural Wireless (Internet Access and Telecommunications � VoiP, Wi-Fi Hot Spots, Wireless Communications/Networks). Beyond this, emerging software and Internet solution suppliers also will be featured in the Technology Innovation Center. This pavilion-style showcase is presented by IH/M&RS and sponsored by Hospitality Upgrade magazine. Returning to the IH/M&RS are notable technology suppliers such as: iBahn; Micros; VingCard/Elsafe; LG; Hotel Technologies; Janus; and Ramesys.
