Christopher W. Deegan Named Director of Food and Beverage
at the Resort at Split Rock in the Western Pocono Mountains


LAKE HARMONY, Pa. - (September 14, 2005) - Maritza Rodriguez, resident manager of the Resort at Split Rock in the Western Pocono Mountains, announced today the appointment of Christopher W. Deegan as the director of food and beverage. Deegan will oversee the daily operations of the banquet food services, five lounges, and the numerous dining options available at the Resort, including the authentic Italian restaurant, Bell'Ago, the Galleria Restaurant, Split Rock Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor, Galleria Coffee Shop and Lago Pizzeria.

"Chris brings over 20 years of hospitality management experience to Split Rock and we believe his knowledge and skills with have a great impact on the already spectacular food and beverage services," said Rodriguez. "We are excited to bring such a successful and well respected professional to our resort."
Prior to joining Split Rock, Deegan served as the director of food and beverage operations at the Hilton Hotel and Conference Center in Scranton, Pa. He also worked as the general manager of the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Clarks Summit, Pa. and spent nine years as the director of operations for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts in White Haven, Pa.
