Suites Opens in Historic St. Charles, Missouri


MEMPHIS, Tenn. - July 7, 2005 -- Embassy Suites Hotels announces the opening of the 296-suite hotel in historic St. Charles, Missouri. The hotel is owned by Mr. John Q. Hammons and is managed by John Q. Hammons Hotels.

Located at Two Convention Center Plaza in St. Charles, the Embassy Suites Hotel - St. Louis/St. Charles is connected to the new 150,000 square foot St. Charles Convention Center and represents the latest addition to the portfolio of more than 175 Embassy Suites Hotels.

In addition to two-room suites, the hotel also offers high-speed Internet access; two dual-line phones with Dataport modems; a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and in-room safes; and an iron and ironing board. Additional amenities at the hotel include shuttle service, an indoor pool, whirlpool, executive business center, fitness center and 5,500 square feet of meeting space, as well as an Internet cafe, Caffeina's Marketplace Cafe featuring Starbucks(R), and Spa Botanica, a full service day spa.

The hotel offers a complimentary full cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a two-hour Manager's Reception(a) each evening featuring beverages and light snacks.

It is located seven miles from Lambert International Airport and just minutes from historic St. Charles shopping and entertainment district. Attractions nearby include: Ameristar Casino, Foundry Art Centre, Empress Riverboat, downtown St. Louis, Gateway Arch, Six Flags, Busch Stadium, Edward Jones Dome and the Savvis Center.
