 RockResorts Names William Hall
Vice President of Operations

DENVER - Aug. 11, 2005--RockResorts, a Denver-based luxury resort operator with properties in seven states, has named William Hall as its new Vice President of Operations. Hall's extensive background in luxury hotels spans four decades and includes experience as the General Manager of no less than four Mobil Five Star properties. Hall's distinguished hospitality career includes eleven years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, having served as general manager of the The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa, and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples.

Additionally, we look forward to capitalizing on Bill's background with the legendary golf destinations Pinehurst, Pebble Beach, and The Mayacama Club as we continue to grow our presence in the resort golf market." 

Hall began his career at Westin Hotels, before becoming the General Manger of Pinehurst Resort (Pinehurst, NC), and spent four years as the General Manager for Silverado Country Club & Resorts (Napa, CA). He went on to lead several Hyatt Hotels (Hilton Head, Sarasota) before joining Ritz-Carlton as the General Manager of its Laguna Niguel property during construction, where he led the property during its first two years. Under Hall's direction, The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel received both Mobile Five Star and AAA Five Diamond Awards. 
Hall later became the Vice President of Resort Operations for the Pebble Beach Company (Pebble Beach, CA), and then moved to the Wigwam Resort (Litchfield Park, AZ) as the Vice President and General Manager. He returned to Ritz-Carlton in 1991, as the General Manager of the Ritz Carlton Huntington Hotel & Spa (Pasadena, CA) and The Ritz Carlton Hotel (Naples, FL), respectively. In 1999 he became the Senior Vice President/Managing Director of Operations of The Cloister Hotel and Beach Club (Sea Island, GA), prior to becoming GM of the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in February of 2002. Hall was most recently General Manager of the Mayacama Club in Santa Rosa, CA. 

Last month RockResorts announced the signing of multi-year management contract for The Lodge at Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs, CA. In May, the company signed an agreement to manage The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera in Vail Valley, CO., and in January RockResorts retained a long-term management contract for La Posada de Santa Fe, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort in Vail Colorado, is also currently under construction. 

The RockResorts collection features casually elegant resorts in seven U.S. states. The RockResorts portfolio includes: The Lodge at Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs, Calif.; The Pines Lodge in Beaver Creek, Colo.; Keystone Lodge in Keystone, Colo.; The Lodge at Vail in Vail, Colo.; La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa in Santa Fe, N.M.; Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, Fla.; The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera, Edwards, CO; The Equinox Resort & Spa in Manchester Village, Vt.; Rosario Resort & Spa on Orcas Island, Wash.; and Snake River Lodge & Spa in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
