to announce Mr. Robert Magrath as the new General Manager of The Best Western
Ft. Myers Island Gateway Hotel, located in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Mr. Magrath has over thirty years of experience in the hotel industry,
working with the Hilton Hotel Corporation for the previous sixteen years
as a General Manager in Wisconsin and in Florida. Prior to that, Mr. Magrath
(a certified executive chef) owned his own restaurant, hotel and catering
businesses in North Carolina. During the 1980�s Mr. Magrath served
as a regional director for Mid-South Management, a Florida based hotel
and country club management group.
Mr. Magrath graduated from New York University, with a Bachelors degree
in Education in 1975 and received his Masters in Business Education in
1977 from Bennett College in New York.
