|Boston, MA, August, 2005: Lisa Lyon was recently named Executive Chef
at Avenue One, Hyatt Regency Bostonís award winning restaurant. She is
responsible for all culinary aspects of the restaurant, as well as all
banquets and functions at the hotel. Her unique dishes are always a hit
with guests at Hyatt Regency Boston.
Ms. Lyon has an extensive resume in the culinary industry, bringing
nearly 20 years of experience to the Hyatt Regency Boston. She began her
career in 1986 in San Francisco and has cooked her way around the world,
studying a wide variety of cuisines and cultures.
She has worked side by side with such notable San Francisco chefs as Michael Mina and George Morrone, whose influences and unique styles intensified her passion for food and her craft.
Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, this is Ms. Lyonís first time in Boston and she is looking forward to bringing her west coast flair to east coast ingredients. Ms. Lyon comes to us from the Hyatts in Lake Tahoe, Irvine and the Regency in San Francisco, California. Outside of work, Chef Lisa enjoys to travel, read and spend time with her two dogs, Billy and Buddy.
