Ocean Club on Paradise Island
Paradise Island, The Bahamas, August 19, 2005 – One&Only Resorts has announced the appointment of Isabel Gracia as Director of Sales at One&Only Ocean Club, the treasured Bahamian hideaway located on Paradise Island.  Ms. Gracia has 10 years of experience in the international luxury resort industry and comes to the resort after a successful two-year tenure as Associate Director of Sales at the highly-acclaimed Mandarin Oriental Miami.

Ms. Gracia commented, “I am looking forward to working with the renowned One&Only Ocean Club, and am eager to bring my expertise to the resort and oversee its sales efforts.”
About One&Only Ocean Club

One&Only Ocean Club, once Shangri-La, the exclusive private estate of Huntington Hartford, has emerged at the turn of the 21st century, after a $100 million renaissance, as one of the most elegant luxury resorts in the Americas.  Intimate in size, placing the highest priority of pampering personalized attentiveness, the resort offers 106 luxurious accommodations including beachfront and garden-view rooms, suites, cottages and three private villas in a gracious colonial Bahamian style, with round-the-clock butler service and luxurious touches such as champagne and strawberries in the afternoon and icy sorbet served on the beach.
The One&Only Ocean Club’s signature restaurant, Dune, is the creation of uber-chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who has virtually redefined fine dining in the tropics.  The sumptuous One&Only Spa features a fusion of ancient Asian holistic philosophies with uniquely Bahamian hospitality and serene, lush surroundings with private spa villas for one or two, while the championship 18-hole Ocean Club Golf Course designed by Tom Weiskopf, a tennis club, a freshwater pool overlooking the resort’s renowned Versailles-inspired gardens, and an extensive menu of water sports offer other recreational options.  A new executive boardroom and family pool also recently opened at the property.
