Francois Chopinet Appointed General Manager
of the InterContinental Carlton Cannes
CANNES, FRANCE (August 26, 2005) – Francois Chopinet has been appointed General Manager of the illustrious InterContinental Carlton Cannes.  In his new role, Chopinet’s responsibilities will include increasing the stature of the famed hotel, a favorite among countless dignitaries and celebrities. 
Chopinet is an InterContinental veteran with more than 25 years experience within the InterContinental Hotels Group, having held the position of General Manager at the InterContinental Geneva (his prior appointment) and the InterContinental Le Vendôme Beruit. Chopinet has also held positions at the InterContinental Dubai, InterContinental Kinshasa-Zaire, InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut, and InterContinental London hotels.
