Crescent Hospitality Signs Two New Management
Contracts for Hotels in Brookfield, Wisconsin
and Sidney, Ohio

FAIRFAX, Va., August 1, 2005 — Crescent Hospitality Corporation, a rapidly growing hotel management company, today announced that it has signed two new management contracts:  the Marriott Residence Inn Milwaukee Brookfield in Wisconsin and the Holiday Inn Sidney in Ohio.  The properties are the first to be added to Crescent’s management portfolio since the company announced plans in June to begin a strategic expansion plan over the next two years.

“These are quality properties and are good examples of the kind of upper mid-market and upscale hotels that form the basis of our operating expertise,” said Michael George, president and CEO.  “The contracts increase our presence in the Midwest, a key region for us.  The Residence Inn is our first property in Wisconsin, and the Holiday Inn is our fifth in Ohio.  Our portfolio stretches from coast to coast, and we are in negotiations to add more properties in all sectors of the country.  We have the size and scale to compete effectively against the large operators without sacrificing the personalized, senior management service of a smaller company.  However, our growth will be on a controlled basis that will allow us to absorb these new properties seamlessly into our system.”

Located at 950 South Pinehurst Court, the three-story, 104-suite Residence Inn Milwaukee Brookfield features 1,120 square feet of meeting space in three meeting rooms, an outdoor pool, fitness center and sports court with picnic area.  The 18-hole Brookfield Hills golf course is on-site.

The 130-room Holiday Inn Sidney is located at 400 Folkerth Ave., just off I-75 at exit 92, approximately 40 miles north of Dayton, Ohio. The property features an outdoor pool, business center, on-site laundry facilities and fitness center.  Guest amenities include complimentary breakfast, high-speed Internet access, iron/ironing board and coffee maker.

Headquartered in Fairfax, Va., just outside of Washington, D.C., Crescent Hospitality was founded in 2001.  The company currently operates approximately 30 upscale and mid-market hotels and resorts with approximately 4,400 rooms in 17 states. The company’s management portfolio encompasses properties in the full-service, convention and premium limited-service segments under nearly 15 hotel flags, including the leading brands of Marriott, Hilton, InterContinental, Choice and Cendant, as well as independent hotels.
