More Than Any Other CompanyEight ARAMARK Harrison Lodging Conference
Centers Selected As 2005 Successful Meetings Pinnacle Award Winners

.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. August 5, 2005 Eight ARAMARK Harrison Lodging (AHL) properties have received the Successful Meetings Pinnacle Award for 2005, the mark of excellence for conference centers in North America.  Of the total 27 conference centers honored this year, AHLs eight awarded properties is more than any other company.  According to the 2005 Pinnacle Award Registry, AHL also operates the four top-rated centers in the United States.  These properties, in order, include Harrison Conference Center in Lake Bluff, Ill.; The National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va.;  Babson Executive Conference Center in Wellesley, Ma.; and Harrison Conference Center & Hotel, Princeton Forrestal Center in Princeton, N.J.  The other AHL properties that received Pinnacle Awards include Harrison Conference Center at Glen Cove in Glen Cove, N.Y.; R. David Thomas Executive Conference Center in Durham, N.C.; The Villanova Conference Center in Radnor, Pa.; and The Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

The readers of Successful Meetings magazine are among the most qualified and active planners within the industry, said Rory Loberg, president, AHL.  We are proud to have eight properties, under our management, receive this distinction in recognition of their excellent services and facilities.

The Pinnacle Award winners are chosen by the readers of Successful Meetings magazine; more than 72,000 corporate and association executives with meeting planning responsibilities have the chance to vote for their top picks. Now in its 21st year, the awards recognize hotels, resorts, conference facilities and destination support organizations for excellence in sustaining meetings, incentive travel and trade show programs. Criteria for the Pinnacle Awards includes conference services; meeting space and room design; technical facilities and services; guest accommodations; food and beverage schedule and quantity; package pricing value; recreational amenities; and location.

Industry experts have likened the Pinnacle to other prestigious travel awards like the Mobile 5-Star and the AAA 5-Diamond. The Pinnacle Awards has earned the reputation as the most credible and prestigious symbol of excellence among meeting planners and conference center executives alike. Pinnacle Award winners are announced each August in Successful Meetings annual Pinnacle Registry.  The list is also available online at www.successmtgs.com.
