  Allan Perales Named Assistant General Manager
at Kimpton's Hotel Burnham in Chicago

CHICAGO, August 9, 2005 � Allan Perales has been promoted to assistant general manager of the award-winning Hotel Burnham in Chicago. This boutique-style hotel, managed by San Francisco-based Kimpton Hotels, is located in the Reliance Building, a significant architectural landmark celebrating its 110th anniversary this year. In this position, he is responsible for assisting with all daily operations, personnel, training and business development for the property.  

Perales joined Kimpton in 2001 as room service manager at the Hotel Monaco New Orleans. Since then he has held a series of positions including front office manager and convention services manager at the Hotel Monaco New Orleans and most recently front office manager at the Hotel Burnham. He has also assisted with the openings of numerous Kimpton hotels, including the Hotel Monaco and Hotel Helix in Washington, DC; Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, Mass. and Hotel Solamar in San Diego.
 
Perales is a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans. He currently resides in Chicago and is an ambassador for the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau.
