Pete Koerner Appointed Kimpton Hotel's
National Director of Facilities

 
SAN FRANCISCO, April 28, 2005 � Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is pleased to announce that Pete Koerner has joined the company as national director of facilities.  Pete will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management in the hotels and restaurants.

�Pete brings with him outstanding experience in facility management,� said Niki Leondakis, chief operating officer of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.  �We are extremely pleased to have him on board and are confident that his experience and industry knowledge will contribute to Kimpton�s continued success.� 

Most recently, Pete was with Marriott International as a regional cluster leader/director of facilities, where he was responsible for facility operation, engineering, security and housekeeping.  Additionally, Pete oversaw all construction and renovation projects.

Prior to that role, Pete was vice president of facilities, operations with Sonesta International Hotels Corporation.  Pete also has experience in contracting as well as energy management from his prior positions at Vali Corporation and Bell Energy Management Corporation in New York.  Pete will be based in Kimpton�s New York City office.
