Developer Richard C. Kessler Planning New Grand
Bohemian Hotel and Residences in
St. Petersburg, Florida

.

Orlando/St. Petersburg, FL (May 12, 2005) -  Orlando-based hotel developer Richard C. Kessler, president and CEO of The Kessler Enterprise, Inc./The Kessler Collection will be announcing his new Grand Bohemian Hotel and Residences project during a press conference held today in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Scheduled to break ground in January 2006, the dramatically-designed Grand Bohemian will be St. Petersburgs first luxury mixed-use, contemporary hotel and residential destination. This unique, urban 28-story tower will rise 350 feet and be situated on the eastern corner of the site of the existing Florida International Museum next to Progress Energy Floridas new headquarters.

The luxury hotel will provide 205 oversized guest rooms and suites with unsurpassed amenities and services to all guests and residents, including the areas  corporate and social community.  Amenities will include a fine dining restaurant, chic lounge, market café, private club, art gallery, pool and large deck area, health spa and more than 16,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and pre-function space.  Sixty-two, high-end residential units will enjoy bay and city-side views, spacious layouts and all the conveniences and services of the hotel.  The prices will start in the low $400,000s and occupancy is projected for late October 2007.

Designed by the prestigious firm of Fullerton Diaz Architects of Coral Gables, Florida, the Grand Bohemians contemporary design will transform a rejuvenating downtown. The corner plaza at ground level features a signature rotunda, a trademark of The Kessler Collection, rising up through the tower with a continuous spire and alternating balconies offering a visual urban presence unseen before.  The tower is complemented by an illuminated tensioned membrane structure laminating the pedestal levels of the tower and garage. The continuous glass railings throughout the building contribute to the elegance that this exciting development offers while underscoring a fresh, minimalist contemporary theme.

The hotels operational and service concept will be reflective of Kesslers Westin Grand Bohemian Hotel located in downtown Orlando.  Deemed An experience in art and music, The Westin Grand Bohemian Hotel has been named the #1 Westin in Guest Satisfaction in North America for the last three years (2002, 2003, and 2004) and worldwide in 2003.

"We are looking forward to becoming apart of the downtown St. Petersburg community," said Kessler.  "This will be a world-class, mixed-use development project that will be recognized by the international community as well."

The Kessler Collection includes the AAA Four-Diamond Casa Monica Hotel in historic, St. Augustine, FL; the AAA Four-Diamond Westin Grand Bohemian Hotel  in Orlando; the AAA Four-Diamond Celebration Hotel in Celebration, FL; the chic and luxurious Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, Historic Kehoe House Bed and Breakfast Inn in Savannah; Beaver Creek Lodge in Beaver Creek, Colorado; Doubletree Castle Hotel in Orlando; Sheraton Studio City Hotel in Orlando; Red Horse Inn in Orlando; the Sheraton Safari Hotel an affiliated property, in Orlando and the Colorado Nature Ranch in Grand Junction slated to open September 2006.
