has announced the promotion of Danny Watts to director of rooms for Stonewall
Resort, a AAA Four Diamond resort located in Weston, West Virginia. The
announcement was made by Ken Jesina, general manager, who said "I
truly look forward to Danny's continued success and positive influence
as part of the management team and the future of Stonewall Resort."

In his new role, Watts will oversee the property's Front Office and Central Reservations System along with the resort's presence and pricing on the Global Distribution System. He will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the resort's Housekeeping department and oversee the Mountain Laurel Spa. Danny Watts was one of the first associates hired by Benchmark at Stonewall Resort. His role at the property has grown steadily since the 208-room lakeside lodge opened in the fall of 2002. Prior to joining Benchmark, Watts held the position of restaurant manager and wine consultant for Meriwether's Market Restaurant, located in Lynchburg, Virginia. He served previously as wine sales representative for Sims Wholesale and general manager of Crown Sterling's Niblick Division. During his tenure here, Watts oversaw a staff of 35 and was responsible for food and beverage purchasing and quality control.
