Arlington Hospitality Opens the AmeriHost Inn & Suites
in Lansing, Michigan; Randy Paradine the Opening

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL (May 5, 2005) -- Arlington Hospitality, Inc. (Nasdaq / SmallCap: HOST), a hotel development and management company, today announced their new AmeriHost Inn & Suites hotel in Lansing, Michigan will open its doors for business today, on May 5, 2005.  This new AmeriHost Inn & Suites is conveniently located off I-96, at the intersection of Davis Highway and Lansing Road, near the Summit at the Capital Centre.  

This AmeriHost Inn & Suites will be led by Randy Paradine as General Manager and Jodi Guild as Director of Sales.  Paradine, a native of Detroit, is a 15-year veteran of the lodging industry.  Ms Guild is a native of Lansing, and was previously the sales manager for two Lansing area full-service hotels. 

The location is Arlington Hospitality�s second AmeriHost Inn & Suites in the greater Lansing area, and one of six AmeriHost Inns Arlington currently operates in Michigan. 

�We are very excited about serving the market near the Summit at the Capital Centre, where there is a great deal of corporate and government business needs,� said Steve Miller, Senior Vice President of Business Development of Arlington Hospitality, Inc.  The hotel plans to work very closely with the Summit in providing guests with food and beverage and extensive meeting space for larger functions, Miller said. 

The three-story, upscale hotel will feature an attractive two-story atrium lobby, 82 guest rooms, 11 Whirlpool suites, a meeting room, full-sized indoor swimming pool and spa, fitness center and coin-operated guest laundry room.  Guests will enjoy free high-speed Internet access and a complimentary enhanced continental breakfast.  Each guest room will have numerous amenities, including free local phone calls, an iron and ironing board, coffee maker, cable television, data port telephones and voice mail service.

Since the AmeriHost Inn brand is part of the Cendant hotel family, guests of the new Lansing hotel will also enjoy the benefits of Cendant�s Trip Rewards program, earning free nights at AmeriHost Inns, Wingate Inns, Ramada Inns, Howard Johnson, Days Inns, Travel Lodge, Super 8, Villager, and Knights Inns. In addition to earning free nights, Trip Rewards members may also redeem points with over 135 program partners, such as most major airlines, Avis, Budget, Century 21, Best Buy, Circuit City and more.  In total, there are 17 AmeriHost Inns in Michigan.
