Regent International Hotels Appoints Tom Manno as
Senior Director of Sales and Operations

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (June 23, 2005) ---- Regent International Hotels today appointed Tom Manno as senior director of sales and operations.  In his new role, Mr. Manno will focus on developing and executing sales, marketing and operations plans for Regent International Hotels in the Americas.  Mr. Manno will report to Monica Neumann, vice president of operations for Regent International Hotels. 

"Tom's extensive experience in sales and marketing, as well as his leadership at the helm of numerous golf resorts and luxury hotels, will greatly benefit Regent as we enter a strong growth period for development of our luxury brand," said Ms. Neumann.  "His proven expertise with a variety of luxury resort products will be an asset to our managed hotels and to Regent International Hotels as whole."

As part of his job, Mr. Manno will also be responsible for building the power of Regent in its existing sales and international partner structure.  With the upcoming opening of The Regent South Beach, Mr. Manno will support and direct the pre-opening sales and marketing plan, oversee corporate operating standards and implement individual hotel procedures.  He will be based in Florida where there are currently three Regent-managed hotels under development (South Beach/Miami, Winter Park and Bal Harbour). 

Mr. Manno has more than 20 years experience in the hotel and resort industry.  He has served as vice president/general manager for the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami and the Westin Innisbrook Resort in Tampa, Florida.  Mr. Manno was also general manager of the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis for six years.  Throughout his 16-year career with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Mr.  Manno held various executive roles in eight different locations from Washington, D.C. to Maui, Hawaii.

Mr. Manno has a bachelor's degree from The State University of New Jersey in Trenton.
