that opened in downtown Salem last October has upgraded its reservations
system, adopting the LuxuryRes system for enhanced Internet and Group booking
capabilities.
The new system afford a change in the hotel's website, as well, under the banner of a new, easier to remember URL: www.salemwaterfronthotel.com. The system allows consumers to book directly through the hotel website and also accomodates links to book through all of the major travel websites including Travelocity, Site 59, Expedia, Orbitz, TravelWeb and 2000 other booking sites. The new EZ-Res Consumer Booking Engine from LuxuryRes circumvents the technology confusions that can cause up to 60 percent of all Internet booking attempts to fail. In addition, LuxuryRes provides seamless connectivity to all of the world's major Global Distribution Systems that provide access to the hotel's inventory to over 650,000 travel agents and the third-party websites, worldwide. On property, LuxuryRes gives the Salem Waterfront Hotel with a fully web-based, real-time reservation capability, allowing them to access and control all booking channels and manage hotel inventory from all sources via the Internet.
