ARAMARK Harrison Lodging’s Rizzo Conference Center Launches $18 Million Expansion to Double Its Size
Chapel Hill, NC – March 31, 2005 – ARAMARK Harrison Lodging’s Rizzo Conference Center is launching a major expansion program sponsored by the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  The renovations, which are projected to cost approximately $18 million, will yield a total of 60 new guestrooms and 10,000 square feet of conference space designed to provide a state-of-the-art learning experience.  An additional 3,600 square feet of multi-function space will increase the facility’s ability to accommodate conference and banquet events for up to 250 attendees.  Completion of the expansion is slated for early summer 2006.

“This is an important investment for both the Rizzo Conference Center and ARAMARK Harrison Lodging,” said Sheri Decker, general manager, Rizzo Conference Center.  “These enhancements will not only improve the guest’s experience at the property, but will also exemplify our ongoing commitment to service, amenities and guest satisfaction.”
