Tarsadia Hotels

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (April 12, 2005) - Thom Geshay has joined Tarsadia Hotels as Senior Vice President of Real Estate. In this position Geshay is responsible for all new business activity and opportunities including acquisition, disposition and development for existing hotels, land, ground leases and any other real estate related investment vehicles.

Geshay's experience in the hospitality industry spans two decades during which he has held a variety of property and corporate level positions both in operations and business development.  He began his hotel career at an early age as a bellman, working his way through the ranks and acquiring considerable expertise in virtually every aspect of hotel development and operations. During his tenure in Business Development, Geshay was involved in nearly $1.0 billion in acquisitions and recapitalizations, primarily single-asset and portfolio transactions, but also structured joint venture agreements, negotiated management contracts and negotiated franchise agreements with virtually every brand.

Geshay held several other strategic corporate positions during his tenure with Davidson including Regional Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Prior to his corporate positions, he served as General Manager for six separate properties within the Davidson portfolio. Established in 1976, Tarsadia Hotels has 29 years experience in hotel management, acquisition and development.
