Management System, DataMagine from Agilysys 
Industry-Leading Software Chosen to Streamline
Efficiency, Enhance Guest Service

CLEVELAND � April 21, 2005 � Agilysys, Inc., (NASDAQ: AGYS) a leading provider of enterprise computer solutions and hospitality software solutions, announced that Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas has selected the Lodging Management System (LMS) and DataMagine� to streamline operations at the 668-room property. The hotel also selected LMS ResNet, LMS ARTS and LMS SPA modules to enhance guest service.

�LMS provides us with a full-featured, tightly integrated property management system,� said Tim Williams, director of information technology at Hard Rock Hotel &  Casino Las Vegas. �Other systems don�t even approach the level of integration and  functionality that LMS offers. LMS also has the ability to interface with our casino system, which will significantly streamline our operations and enhance customer service.�

LMS is an integrated property management software system designed to create economies of scale and provide greater control of front office, accounting and housekeeping operations. The versatile system links customer gaming accounts to hotel accounts and is easily expandable to incorporate additional software modules from Agilysys and other vendors. LMS ResNet is a Web-based real-time reservation system that allows guests to check hotel room and rate availability, book reservations, pay for a room with a credit card, and receive an e-mail confirmation.

LMS ARTS interfaces with hotel guest history data to allow guests to preplan an entire stay, including show tickets, golf tee times, spa appointments and even off-site activities. The flexible program can modify reservations based on a number of factors such as venue, seat, date and time, and then places canceled activities back into inventory for resale. The result is optimum property utilization and profitability. LMS SPA integrates with the LMS property management system to provide room and  technician scheduling for hotel spa facilities.

�We plan to use ARTS not only for dinner reservations, but also to keep track of cabana reservations for Hard Rock�s world-famous Beach Club and possibly to track guest lists for our new nightclub, Body English,� said Williams.

Hard Rock Selects DataMagine to Meet Imaging and Archiving Needs

The property also selected DataMagine, a complete imaging and archiving solution. 

The system, which is platform and business software independent, can scan color IDs, such as driver�s licenses and passports. These images are stored in the system and linked to casino applications using a patented no-programming capability function. This technology virtually eliminates identification theft and deception. 

DataMagine also features an enhanced CD burning module that supports group bills and related charges such as folios and point-of-sales slips.

According to Williams, the property expects the imaging system to decrease the costs associated with paper storage. �We expect to save money on hard copy storage as well as facilitate access to documents, particularly those shared between  departments,� he said.
