Luxe Worldwide Adds the Griffon, San Francisco
and The Rafaelhoteles Piramides, Madrid

Los Angeles, California - March 1, 2005 - Efrem Harkham, CEO and President of the premiere hotel representation company Luxe Worldwide Hotels, announced today two new member hotels: the Hotel Griffon, San Francisco, California and the Rafaelhoteles Piramides, Madrid, Spain. Both join the varied Luxe Worldwide portfolio of over 200 member hotels in 27 countries.

Hotel Griffon, San Francisco, sited in a restored 19th century building, is located in the city’s financial district, blocks from the Embarcadero Center. Voted “Best Boutique Hotel, Best of the Bay Area 2004” by San Francisco Magazine, the boutique property is close to a historic cable car line and near the city’s newest attraction, the revitalized Ferry Building, which is filled with great restaurants, cafes and a gourmet food court and shops.

Many rooms have breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, Bay Bridge and Treasure Island. All are accessorized with elegant mahogany furnishings, plush bathrobes and duvet-covered beds.  In addition to the complimentary continental breakfast, room rates include free high-speed Internet access, daily newspaper, nightly turndown and complimentary weekday morning town car service within the financial district. Hotel Griffon is at 155 Steuart Street.

In the capital city of Madrid, Spain, the Rafaelhoteles Piramides is in one of the city’s best and most verdant locations, steps from the famed El Rastro Flea Market and the scenic San Isidro Park.   Located at 40 Paseo de las Acacias, the hotel is also close to the Plaza Mayor and historic Royal Palace, near the city’s cultural center and the renowned Prado Museum.

Contemporary design distinguishes the hotel’s 84 guestrooms and nine suites outfitted with the most up-to-date amenities including pillow-topped beds, satellite TV and high-speed Internet access. Work desks are large; bathrooms are luxurious with marble vanities.  Within the hotel is a convenient Business Center offering wireless Internet access. Acuarela, the hotel’s casual-style restaurant, serves updated Spanish cuisine.
