Gregory John Horeth Appointed Regional Vice President
of Operations for Winegardner & Hammons, Inc.

Cincinnati, OH., March 9, 2005 � Winegardner & Hammons, Inc., Senior Vice President of Operations and Human Resources, Kent Bruggeman, recently announced the appointment of Gregory John Horeth to regional vice president of operations.  A 29-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Horeth has served most recently as the General Manager at the Marriott Chicago Northwest, in Hoffman Estates Illinois, an owned and managed Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. hotel.

As the Regional Vice President of Operations, Horeth will oversee the strategic, financial and operational responsibilities for a regional portfolio of Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. hotels.  He serves on the executive committee for the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association and is Chairman of the organization�s �Stars of the Industry� event.  He is also a member of the Economic Development Council for Hoffman Estates and an Executive Committee Board Member for the Greater Woodfield Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Horeth and his wife Diane of 25-years reside in Winfield, Illinois and are the proud parents of three grown children.  When he is not in the office, Horeth, an avid outdoors person, participates in triathlon competitions, plays soccer, and referees all levels of youth soccer leagues.
