22, 2005 � The Learning Center at Marlboro has adopted a new name marking
the start of a fresh new phase. Situated on 25 wooded acres outside
Boston�s Metrowest, this meeting facility has been renamed as The Conference
Center at Marlborough, acknowledging itself primarily as a corporate meeting
facility.
�The name change better represents our current and future direction� said Michael Trosin, general manager, The Conference Center at Marlborough. �The new name acknowledges the facility as a true conference center.� In addition to the name change, The Conference Center at Marlborough, a Verizon owned property, is making additional enhancements to the facility. High-speed internet is now available in each of the 223 guestrooms, all conference rooms and the business center. Renovations of the guestrooms, auditorium and lobby are planned for 2005. The Conference Center at Marlborough is a specially designed complex featuring 54 modern conference rooms, complete with an array of audio-visual and conference supplies, as well as 223 single occupancy guestrooms designed for the corporate traveler. With an additional focus on enjoyment and recreation, the center boasts a 400-seat dining room, bar and lounge, fitness center, indoor pool, game room and more. The center�s signature conference
room is its 170-seat auditorium, a unique environment offering front and
rear screen projection, adjustable task lighting and much more. Ergonomic
seating and in-room climate control are just a few of the features
found in this 40,000 square-foot, International Association of Conference
Center (IACC) approved facility In addition, the center�s comfortable
guestrooms offer attractive furnishings, woodland views, ample work
space, private voice mail and high-speed internet.
