Rocco Forte Hotels Appoints Sarah Browne and
Sue Heady to Corporate Executive Posts

24 January 2005 - To support its continuing expansion, Rocco Forte Hotels is pleased to announce the creation of two new senior roles that will considerably strengthen the corporate team based at the company�s head office in London.

Sarah Browne has been appointed International Sales Director, reporting to Moreno Occhiolini, Managing Director Operations � Europe, while Sue Heady has been appointed Head of Media Relations, reporting to Sir Rocco Forte.

Sarah joined Rocco Forte Hotels in July 2004 as London Sales Director and quickly made her mark, resulting in her current promotion.  Sarah will manage both the London and New York sales teams, as well as acting as the central co-ordinator for all the hotels in the collection when sales activities are undertaken at a corporate level, as at trade shows.

Prior to joining Rocco Forte Hotels, Sarah was Regional Sales Manager for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, with responsibility for the UK, Scandinavia and the Middle East, for four years.  She has spent most of her career in the travel industry, having also worked for several Caribbean tour operators and a boutique London hotel.

Sue Heady will dictate corporate PR strategy, while handling all corporate press relations and promoting all the hotels in the collection to the national press, as well as all trade media.  Sue was originally hired in April 2004 to cover the maternity leave of the Marketing Services Manager, at the end of which she was offered the permanent role of Head of Media Relations.

She worked for both SN Brussels Airlines and the Belgian Tourist Office in a press capacity before starting work for Rocco Forte Hotels. Prior to entering the PR world, Sue spent more than a decade working as a journalist and published author.

Commenting on the two appointments, Sir Rocco Forte said, �I�m delighted that Sarah and Sue have agreed to take on these two key roles, as the company progresses to the next stage of its development.  Sales development and media relations are critical factors in our continued success.�
