Outrigger Hotels Announces Key Appointments for its two Beachfront Hotels in
Waikiki

outriggerhotellogoHonolulu, Oahu, Hawaii (Jan. 10, 2005) -- Kimberly Agas, Vice President of Operations for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts' Beachfront Division, has announced theappointment of two key managers to the company's two beachfront hotels in Waikiki. Elliot Mills has been promoted to General Manager of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, and Jim Heather has been appointed General Manager of theOutrigger Waikiki on the Beach. Both positions are effective January 1, 2005.

Elliot Mills

Mills has been Director of Operations for the Outrigger Reef since April 2004,where he has worked closely with the operations management team to enhance the guest experience and improve operational effectiveness. Mills came to Outrigger with over 15 years of industry leadership experience in full-service hotel operations, condominium resort management and renovation
project management. He has held key management positions with Hyatt Hotels, Royal Lahaina Resorts and Aston Resorts.

According to Agas, "Elliot and his operations management team's future focus will be to plan and prepare for the upcoming renovations of the Outrigger Reef, scheduled for the 2nd half of 2005, while implementing initiatives to improve and maintain service levels at the hotel."

Jim Heather

Heather moves to the Outrigger Waikiki from his most recent position as General Manager of the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona on Hawaii's Big Island, where he had the overall responsibility of the management, maintenance and improvements of the 16-acre property with 38 buildings. Heather started his career with Outrigger in 1998 as Director of Rooms for the Outrigger Guam Resort, where he played a key role in the pre-opening and opening of the property. Heather's career in the hospitality industry also includes management positions with Hilton Hotels in Guam and Holiday Inn in Tokyo, Japan.

"Jim's passion for operating resort hotels and his experience in rooms operations will help the Outrigger Waikiki's management team strengthen their position in the marketplace as the innovator of guest services," Agas said.
