Los Angeles, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2005) --  Jeff Lugosi, a former vice president in the Los Angeles office of national hospitality consulting firm PKF Consulting, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, effective January 1, 2005, according to Bruce Baltin, PKF Consulting Sr. Vice President and head of the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Lugosi, 44, joined PKF Consulting in 1988, when the firm was then part of Pannell Kerr Forster.  He has worked in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices of PKF Consulting and has overseen projects all over the U.S., as well as in Mexico, Costa Rica, the West Indies, Indonesia, and China. He joins the ranks of senior management who are also shareholders in the firm.

In his 16 years with PKF Consulting, Lugosi has had extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including market demand studies and litigation support assignments, in addition to valuations and appraisals.  His industry experience includes hotels and resorts, golf courses, and casinos, as well as advising on the financing and ownership of timeshares, condo hotels, and fractionals.  He has worked with many of the major real estate hospitality lenders, owners, and management companies.

Prior to joining PKF Consulting, he worked for two regional real estate consulting companies in San Francisco.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego and his MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.  He is a Member of the Appraisal Institute.

Jeff Lugosi and his wife, Addie, and their two children live in La Cañada, CA.
